So Sarabi and I have recently made a few changes to our lifestyle and diet. After figuring out that Sarabi was gluten intolerant, we stopped consuming all gluten products; pasta, baked goods and so on. I found it difficult initially, for some reason when you give something up it is the one thing you crave -_-
When out and about you can't just pick up anything to snack on, now we are painstakingly looking through ingredients list after ingredients list just to have a snack. Going gluten free also means that when going out to eat, a majority of restaurants only do a very limited selection of options, if at all. Lastly, gluten free products can be quite pricey in the supermarket and in health food shops. However, the pros far outweigh the cons. My wife had suffered from eczema her whole life and was only able to try to manage it with steroid creams and natural remedies. Now Sarabi's skin has never looked better, not one patch of eczema and not a bloated stomach in sight and the same goes for me. In the past I had been skeptical about trends in dieting etc, but I can actually say that going gluten free really has benefited us both and I don't see us going back. Due to the cost and convenience, Sarabi and I have been baking our own gluten free bread and sweet treats, from plain loaves to cakes and brioche buns. We may start putting recipes up, once we have tried and tested them a few times for you guys. Feel free to share some good gluten free recipes you guys have used, I'm always looking for inspiration and would love to hear from you.. Another reason we have been feeling good is that Sarabi and I joined a gym three months ago. I hadn't trained consistently for almost 2 years, since Sarabi got pregnant really and was feeling out of shape. I gained 10kilos (1.5stone) of unhealthy weight during this time, mainly around my stomach. Something had to change, I have worked in a gym in the past and have always tried to keep fit so I was confident I knew what had to be done to achieve my goal. I enjoy variety in the gym, so workouts have consisted of weight training, cardio, ab workouts and boxing. Changing it up keeps working out exciting, fun and non repetitive. Training with Sarabi has been good fun, we motivate and push each other in the gym to really make the most of a session. Fortunately we have family able to look after Simba whilst we train, but when we don't we usually take it in turns to go into the gym whilst the other keep Simba entertained...its all about balance. Being a parent can be stressful, busy and chaotic at times but having an outlet such as the gym or other hobbies helps to maintain a healthy mind, body and soul. When you are taking time to look after yourself and doing something physical, you are building your confidence, setting a positive example to your little ones and looking and feeling great. Who wouldn't want that?! A typical workout for me will start off with 10 mins of a light warm up and stretching to avoid injuries and to help with post workout recovery. If I am working on upper body; I will focus on back, chest, shoulders and arms. This might seem a lot, but doing 2/3 exercises per muscle group and keeping rest times at no longer than 1 min, is doable in an hour's workout. My focus is always on technique rather than how much I am lifting or pushing. I finish by doing cardio (such as the CrossTrainer) after weights, it really gets your heart rate will be pumping and allows the body to focus on burning fat. I enjoy using the cross trainer as its easy on the joints. Training and going gluten free has me feeling good and positive. I have lost 5.5 kilos and now weigh 90 kg (14.1 stone). My target weight is 85 kg so not quite there yet, but with hard work and eating well I will get there. Don't forget to recommend any of your Gluten free recipes/ideas. Hit me up on email, instagram or facebook. Until next time, Hakuna Matata...The Leo Pride

In July we decided to go on an impromptu trip to Devon for the Mrs' birthday, just before the big crowds descend to the beaches in their masses. Fortunately for us the weather was great, with the few suspicious cloudy/rainy moments (it is English weather after all).
A few years before we had our little one, Sarabi and I went camping for two nights in Gloucestershire, we had a great time and hadn't done anything like it since really. We had been discussing camping for a while and though both of us were really excited about it, the thought of camping with a 16 month old was slightly nerve wrecking. Questions back and forth like, 'What is Simba going to sleep on?' 'Will the travel cot fit in the car?' 'Will Simba even sleep?!' 'Can we fit anything in the car?' 'Is the weather going to be alright?' After some deliberation, we decided that it might be a better alternative to find something a little more substantial than a tent but still trying to keep it relatively low cost. We ended up looking for caravan parks and holidays. We were recommended to look at Hoseasons, so we did and found a decent selection of places still available up and down the country some low and some high prices. After looking around, we decided to book Beverley Park in Paignton, Devon. We chose this one as the facilities were just what we were looking for. Indoor and outdoor pools, Sauna(for the adults), Entertainment for Simba and best of all we were able to cook. Ideal as now we have gone Gluten Free and find it ever increasingly difficult to eat out. (But that is another blog altogether.) We went for a four sleeper caravan and bought Simba's travel cot with us, eliminating all of those previous worries. So the day came and we set off for Devon, after finally getting everything in the car after a few 'I forgot this' scenarios. Check in was hassle free, there was a friendly atmosphere in the holiday park. The caravan had two rooms, one double, one twin along with a fairly spacious living room, kitchen and bathroom. Safe lock up and go style accommodation and we were able to park the car within sight of the caravan. We headed to explore Beverley Park, finding a Bar and kids/adults entertainment area. The entertainers had Simba (along with all the other children) buzzing and singing along. Simba was in his element surrounded by other kids and music. This was a nice opportunity to greet and chat to other parents too. We used the outdoor pool every day without fail. There was a kiddies shallow pool and a length pool outdoors which are both heated. It was the first time Simba went swimming and it ended up being a struggle getting him out...Water baby. Sarabi and I managed to play some putt putt(mini golf) in the holiday park which was great fun and I'm a terrible putter. It was convenient having all these options without having to get in the car and drive around. We did however spend a lot of time driving to different beaches and marinas close by, such as Torquay Marina, Goodrington beach and Preston beach (I think that was the name) We tried out our new DJI Spark drone and managed to get some really good footage of the coast and the family. Our stay was a memorable one and I would definitely recommend Beverley Park for other families. The area is surrounded by the coast which makes access to beaches easy. There are great views from the camp site within in the park. The staff and security on sight were approachable and professional and most of all the facilities are very good. Hi all, hope you have been well whilst I've been away. Just wanted you to know that we are currently renovating the site so please bear with us. I am excited about the new content for the blog we have in store for you all! Drone footage, Reviews and so much more!
Our little Simba is really getting so big now. Walking, nearly talking and eating like a Lion! I have to say that I am really loving being a Dad (Simba sleeping through certainly helps...sorry!) So keep a look out for the new content. See you again soon, Hakuna Matata. The Leo Pride So you may (or may not as the case may be) be wondering about how our travel to SA went with a newborn. I'd love to tell you all about how we found travelling with a baby. The day finally came when we had finished our packing and to Heathrow to get the eagerly anticipated journey off to a start!! Sarabi and I were really aware that the following almost 24hrs of travelling through airports and countries was no easy feat, but here we are at Heathrow with our stomachs in knots thinking about the journey ahead of us. We had booked the flights way in advance and decided to try the cheaper alternative of not going directly to SA but getting a connecting flight. We flew with Air France from Paris CDG Airport, then onto Johannesburg. This meaning that to get to our final destination, we had three plane journeys, one being long haul from Paris CDG to Johannesburg OT. Looking forward our next trip will be direct, the rush in Paris was tiring and it caused serious sweats. With some help of wet wipes, away goes the sweats and we are shortly about to take off and depart to JHB. The flight went superb, simba settled in no time and with the plane vibrations he was up in the clouds zzzz'ing away. Europcar - We rented a vehicle from the airport, good service and quick too, they even upgraded us to a larger vehicle. Loved the ride, family friendly vehicle Renault stepway Sanderowith lots of boot space. Willows Resorts, Port Elizabeth coast, the drive along the coast was a wakeup and smell the ocean moment We arrived around 19:00 at the enclosed resort, pre booked. It was real dark and quiet with practically just the sound of waves crashing in the background. Our stay at Willows was a good one, despite it being out of season there were fellow travellers and families in the resort. On freedom day in particular the whole resort livened up, everybody was on their braai(bbq) the weather was great and the waves were within reaching distance of our chalet. There are great facilities like mini golf, pool table, sand football pitch and great walks. The rental of putters were cheap and a deposit was around 20r per putter £1.30 roughly. The bbqs and surrounding facilties were cleaned every day so no hassle of scrubbing the remnants of the braai the day after. We will one day be returning, for a longer stay... The roadtrip to Cape Town was relatively straight forward, by far the most scenic part of the journey. We stopped a few times along the garden route in places like Knysa, The wilderness and eventually stopping off in Mossel Bay half way through the journey. Pre packing and planning helped a lot, we were able to relax on our stop offs and feed Simba who was taking it all in and buzzing. Our stay in Mossel bay was booked through airbnb, a site I like for its convenience but with all the service charges not so cost effective. None the less our hosts were great, we received fresh bread which went down a treat. Our hosts were very welcoming to the family which made us feel at ease immediately. After an overnight stop to recharge our batteries (along with a glass of red wine and a small braai). We were ready to set off to Cape Town, we decided this time around that we should explore different areas of Cape Town. Stellenbosch, Western Cape, Cape Town - roughly 45 mins outside Cape Town. We stayed for a few nights, again booked through airbnb. We stayed on a farm on our hosts property, extremely homely with our own private entrance. Stellenbosch was wicked, the views are unreal and the farm we stayed on had great character and tons of space. We explored the local area for a few days and got good vibes, restaurants were cheap and the quality was excellent. Stellenbosch has many students because of the university and you really feel it in the vibe, we found a nice café to have some fresh juice and a lekker breakfast on both mornings. I was hesitant of staying on someone else's property but with our own entrance we felt we had privacy and I really enjoyed it. Tamboerskloof, Cape Town - after a few days on the farm we moved into town a two bedroom to share with the inlaws who were visiting for two weeks.... DOH. It ended up being alright apart from them setting the alarm off getting the local security down flashing lights through the window while the Mrs and I were relaxing in the garden. It was reassuring to know that the alarm worked and the security were on it. The locals were trendy, it seemed a place where the cool people hung out. Good bars with good staff, a good selection to eat in or take away. Walking is tiring due to the really steep hills, not ideal for pushing a little one but our baby carrier worked perfectly. It didn't stop us getting out. Gugulethe Township, Mzolis, Cape Town - My wife found out about Mzolis online. The best way I could describe it is an outdoor space to kick back and relax in the township with traditionally prepared meats and sides. You choose your own meat and quantity from the butchers, you pay sit down and your meal is brought out. pork chops, beef steaks and sausage along with chakalaka very yummy and worth the visit. What I would say is that the facilities such as seating could be improved. Well worth the visit, a good a couple of hours out, not ideal for baby facilities but great fun. Table mountain - awesome, cold with a restricted view due to weather conditions. A must when in Cape Town. The cable cart is good fun, I would like to walk it one day. Had a decent amount of time on the mountain to explore with the little one very alert to everything going on. V&A Waterfront, Cape Town were lovely with many to choose from, many right by the water. A bit more expensive than usual but again £40.00 gets a really nice meal. The local seafood is always good, even for people who dont like fish, try it. We used cab services in Cape Town mainly because I fancied drinking and not driving. The service was decent (sports cabs- the red ones), reliable at most times but worth taking the number of a good driver to do specific jobs for you. The drivers were approachable so don't be afraid to talk. Through our travels in SA food is always inspiring, comparing it to what we have in the UK considering the cost puts things into perspective. There is no doubt my waistline suffered a bit but worth every bite. Here are a few of the places we visited we would reccommend: Bocadillos, Walmer Port Elizabeth- We were hungry and fancied something healthy. We ordered a thai chicken wrap to go and it was delicious. Fresh, lots of flavour and hearty portions, yes please. Reasonably priced in a nice area and good venue. Apparently they do good lunches and evening food too. hmmm next time.. - Something Good Roadhouse - Summerstrand Port Elizabeth Something Good is always a favourite stop off for really nice quick bites to eat, whether you park up in the carpark and order from your car (Really cool concept, waiters come to you to take your order, its great) We would really recommend the Cajun Calamari, Breakfast Burrito and the ice cream are always winners. - Grass Roof - Sardinia Bay Port Elizabeth A real hidden gem, we tried on many occasions to buy a pie from this place and it proved to be really difficult. They sold out as early as 11.30am, a real testament to how good the food is. We had pizza here, we also had a cocktail here and finally breakfast with fresh orange juice and a great coffee. All in all, it became one of our more frequent stops, due to the lush scenery and a really lovely feel to the place. It was also a really nice area to walk with our Little Simba, so close to the sea. - The Blue Shed Coffee Roastery - Mossel Bay The BEST coffee in the world hands down. Honestly if you ever pass through Mossel Bay this place is somewhere you HAVE to stop to try the coffee. There is outside and inside seating and its a great place to let the kids run around and play whilst you enjoy a great coffee in the sunshine. - St Elmo's Pizzeria - Walmer Port Elizabeth & Col Cacchio Boardwalk Summerstrand Port Elizabeth Two pizzerias that you must try in PE. Both have great pizza and at a really decent price. There's so many to check out and if you have more suggestions for us next time we go please let us know! Aside from all the eating and enjoying ourselves, we felt it was really important that we have our little Simba checked out and who better than the Paediatrician that I saw as a boy growing up in SA. We managed to book an appointment before we left the UK .It worked out to roughly £40. It was so worth the money, the Dr was so professional and a great experience for us as a family. Our trip was so worth the wait, our Simba got to meet his family and took to the climate and sea air. The time we spent together and memories created were amazing . It gave us great confidence we could enjoy our holiday and take care of our boy. We will no doubt be returning again, potentially longer term and cannot wait to get back. Until then we plan to make the most of being in Europe exploring cities before our return. I will be blogging about our European city break experiences with the little one. Do feel free to comment and share So ideally I would have updated this blog a while ago but better late than never I say. Simba, our little lion, was due on the 06.02.17; he ended up being 4 days late. He took his sweet time and kept us on the edge, the lead up to the due date was exciting, stressful and time dragged...
So how it all happened: Sarabi, my wife, had the sweep done the day after the due date. Its meant to stimulate and break the water but its not guaranteed, walking, sex and curry is supposed to help too... The day before he arrived we thought it was time, Sarabi's contractions were getting more frequent and stronger. We decided to give the hospital a visit and got his heart monitored, everything was okay and we were ready for our boy. By this point Sarabi was groaning like a goat/bull. Very amusing yet stressful, I have a sick sense of humour so half the time I was trying to not laugh. We got sent back home, she was only 1 cm dilated, and the hospital didn't want to keep her in. So back home we went. The drive home was like no other, the contractions were hectic to say the least and Sarabi was not in a good way. At this point I started pooping myself, not literally but I was scared, tired, very tired and emotional. We got home, Sarabi had a bath for comfort as the contractions were reaching peak level. She got in bed and woke me up, asked me to breathe with her, being so knackered I was tempted to turn around and say shut up let me get some sleep lol. After four hours of baths, pacing and deep breaths we decided enough was enough, back to the hospital! After a drive Louis Hamilton would have been proud of we were back at the hospital. Sarabi had said all along that she did not want an epidural, when the real pain kicked in she was demanding one... and all the drugs they could offer. She was given Pethidine and some gas and air to help ease the contractions. But once again Sarabi was now only 2 cm dilated so we were taken to an Antenatal ward to rest and wait until she was 4/5 cm dilated to have the epidural. An hour and a half of me sitting down next to Sarabi and attempting to comfort/hush her through her contractions (it was around 5 am we were on a ward full of pregnant ladies trying to sleep and Sarabi resembled a fox howling in the woods). The midwife came to do her rounds and checked up on us. The midwife checked Sarabi, looked up and said "Whatever you do don't push, your waters about to go. You are 9 cm dilated. No epidural, we are going to the Labour ward now". Now this was another woman inspecting my wife's bits, but I could not have been happier at the time with the news. We rushed to the Labour ward and the pushing began. Sidenote: As a man its good to have a non direct view, but I saw it all... Mother nature taking its course is beautiful and an eye opener. I sucked it up, I knew Sarabi had all the hard work to do. I simply sat back, put my feet up and started cracking on the popcorn, what a show....Not quite, but before I knew Simba was making his way into our world, magical, after 9 months of waiting poopy head came to join us 4 days late after about 15 mins of pushing. The weeks after involved adjusting, taking it in turns to sleep, sussing out what Simba needed and when. With most things we learn from experience, other peoples tips and Simba teaches us. The Leo pride has officially begun and it is so worth the wait. Heading to South Africa in two weeks, will be blogging on experiences of travelling with a little one. Do come back and read, you will be entertained. Keep it cool calm and collected, Hakuna matata!!!! Roaaaaaaaaar TheLeoPride. It's been a little while since I've last updated you on everything. The wedding went really well, an initimate day we will never forget. It was just what we wanted and more, not a huge fuss everyone having a good time and both sides of the family getting together and getting to know each other. We had the reception the foloowing weekend and it was a good laugh, friends and family came together to celebrate us and we felt the love, it wont last long so we enjoyed every minute lol. Feel incredibly lucky and blessed to have tied the knot to Sarabi, she's the Queen of my pride. Although Sarabi and I have been together a long time, marriage is a huge step and I'm proud to have her as my wife - for better or worse although it might be for the worse:)
Finally we can kick back and get into the Christmas spirit. This time of the year seems to go incredilbly quick, Christmas day is now 19days away which Im sure will fly by. BUT, as excited as I am for Christmas I cant help but think of when baby boy is going to be joining our little pride. Simba is 31 weeks now and they say birth can happen anytime in between 36-40weeks so you do math. Sarabi has been doing a fantastic job with her diet and exercising. It keeps her in good spirits and will eventually help when the time of birth occurs. Simba is really strong now, he's a lethal ninja that entertains me with kicking his mum. He also reacts to our talking at times (going to have to get used to selective hearing). What i do find funny is that he rarely kicks for other people which I'm quite pleased about, especially when he doesn't kick for my mother in law :). Alhough we are prepared for his arrival I dont think we will feel ready until he's here. I seriously need to pull my finger out and start practicing nappy changing. Im going to have to deal with muconium, Sarabi tricked me into promising to take care of the first nappy change, then went onto explain what it is....Which is basically, and sounds like, poo from out of this world. Really disgusting I know but bring it on I'm ready for it. As the new year approaches so does our holiday/honeymoon. Although it has cost a fair bit, going away to spend quality time with little man and family will be well worth it. Most of our accomodation booking has been done through Airbnb in the past. Although its a very handy site there seems to be more charges than when we initially joined. I plan on exploring and researching alternative sites to use so if anyone knows of any holiday rental sites in South Africa do give us a shout. I hope you are all keeping warm during these cold times. Dont go too hard on the chocolate its not quite Christmas yet:) Feel free to leave your comments and thoughts. Until next time Hakuna Matata....The Leo Pride.. Selling the above Christmas stocking filler bags for £2.99 inc p&p to UK. Please feel free to email me at [email protected] for any queries. Buying in bulk? No problem can definitely sort you out a discount! Also for mixing and matching the different bags.
Be organised this year, don't be shy email me! Hakuna Matata...The Leo Pride I've not been neglecting the blog, no no, just extremely busy getting ready for my little lion. Sarabi which rhymes with wasabi and I are getting married woohooo. We have been engaged since the summer and although we had planned on getting married abroad next year the timing just feels right, ceremony booked, lunch venue sorted, reception sorted this shit is a walk in the park. Ok not quite, but I'm really pleased its all going smooth and its going to be just what we want and still planning on doing a big bash for the family and close friends abroad next year. Already have a few people who have confirmed and expressed their excitement, epic stuff. To those who don't realise, South Africa is beautiful the flight might be a bit hefty but after that money goes a long long way so don't let the flight cost put you off. You're all invited!! No, you're not but I bet that made you smile.
Little Simba keeps flexing his muscles, hiccuping and doing gymnastics much to his mamas delight lol. He doesn't kick for everyone which is great, I feel like him and I already got our little thing going, daddys boy. Sarabi is eating like a champion, she makes a very sexy sumo wrestler and the best is yet to come haha. I'm making a huge effort to cook good foods and so is she, this can only be a good thing. Lots of veg, proteins and good carbs and good fats like avocado. We don't really do fry ups on the weekend any more, mainly boiled eggs and avo with wholemeal toast, little things like that have really helped out I think. One of our favourite foods is sushi...OBVIOUSLY Baby mama cannot have this until Bean gets here and I feel proud of the fact that I have resisted also...Solidarity. Made a few positive changes to the diet and both Sarabi and I feel great. I have even cut out beer (bellys gonna get ya) my new fave is Jonny Walker Red or Black label. (FYI Jonny Walker if you're listening I take payment in both £s and Whiskey) Like many of you are planning for Christmas, we are planning for our baby. He's got some nice clothing now, I hope to share some pics with you guys real soon. He has his baby push chair (a gift from his nanny) its wicked, its a Graco DLX travel system. Its ideal for travelling and comes with a few extra bits. We have a small car that we share between us and it was important to find a compact folding buggy that can actually fit in the tiny space we call a boot. Baby mama went to Mothercare and asked them to try it in the boot before any decision was made and luckily it did! The buggy comes with a car seat and a solid base that stays within the car, a bit like an ISOFIX but cheaper. The whole thing costs around £330, compared to a few I have seen its very reasonable and hey I didn't pay so I'm not complaining at all. Some we saw in Mamas n Papas a while back were probably worth more than our car! Simba would have been riding in more style than us! Everything feels like its coming together now, after the nerves and excitement preparing makes me feel good. I actually cant wait to meet little man, but he's good where he's at right now (That's me asking him not to rush). Sarabi says patience is a virtue, its never been a strength of mine but one thing I do know is that it will be worth the wait. I wish you a blessed week, its nearly Halloween so I hope you guys have your outfits, sweets for the kids, toffee apples, all that jazz ready. I might put the lights out and act like nobody is home, I might eat all the candy. Sharing is caring they say?? Arrrhhh damn it. Until next time. Hakuna Matata...TheLeoPride Everyday should be a Bank holiday, weekends go way too quick! Spent the weekend in the countryside, did loads of walks and got to see baby mamas relatives. Bean enjoys a good walk however Sarabi struggles a little more now so got told to slow down, lovely to have some fresh air. Sarabi loves this time of year vibrant autumn colours, cool fresh air, I's usually not so keen; I can feel the cold coming. BUT for once I am excited about the winter for obvious reasons. Bean is due in just under 4 months. Born in the winter made in the summer:).
The lead up to beans arrival is coming so quickly. Halloween is around the corner, Sarabi and I are getting married at the end of November, next stop is Christmas, New Year and then KABLAAAYAAM jackpot baby!! Show me the money aka baby will be here. Tying the knot, exciting times. Sarabi will be an "Official" part of the pride so there will be a ceremony, Sarabi will be crowned Queen of the Leo Pride. I hope she knows how lucky she is, there was once a waiting list lol (She will hate me for saying that). Shes been my Queen for a long time, through good and bad shes always been there, a true Queen to be crowned. Weddings rings need to be purchased and I need to finalise my suit plans but all other things are nearly sorted, weddings don't need to be stressful. Sarabi and I are looking for it to be as simple and as stress free as possible and so far so good. Sarabi's family are very much excited about the new arrival, her two brothers have three kids each all under 10 so it gets kiddy crazy sometimes (They're all baby machines and I refuse to compete!!). On the flip side, for my family Bean will be the first grandson, nephew and everything else so this involved lots of processing when we first told them. But as time goes on people are showing their love, support and excitement. Bean is bringing people together and he's not even here. Its great to see everyone coming together for our cub. We got home this evening to a suspicious package waiting on our doorstep, turns out its a gift from a friend and his partner. beautiful flowers and a teddy for bean, I was a bit speechless to be honest. A great gesture and the flowers are great for brownie points, its fine they can babysit. Sarabi cried, she's doing that a lot these days, at pictures TV shows etc etc, a bit like crying a river, shes filled up the Thames. She is a woman of many talents. Its cooled down a lot lately, still not got the heating on, persevering with hoodies and blankets for now. Its hard out here preparing for a family lol and we need all the extra cash we can get! Candles are on now, always love a candle or three in the Winter, I reckon it helps with the heating and makes me sleep well. Also, great for setting the mood if you catch my drift... On that note, three candles on, you know the rest. ;))) Until next time, Hakuna Matata...TheLeoPride. Baby boy just keeps growing and growing, and with all this growing I cant help but feel a bit unprepared. I'm ready for it but my thinking has shifted from focusing on myself to what my boy needs. Babymama wanted to go mental in the shops when we found out she was preggers, baby's first this and that, obviously her mother skills are already kicking in or maybe its just her addiction getting the better of her, I really don't know but I let her get on with it.
Lets face it though, the ladies have the hard job of carrying babies, the weight gain, the mood swings (from "I love you, you are going to be a great daddy" to "you are such a douchebag". It has made me think of the efforts and troubles my own mum had to go through with me but 29 years on and shes got a legend lol. But I take my hat off to all the women out their juggling their work and daily life along with carrying a baby, fair play. We are all made unique but I'm glad I don't need to be worrying about popping a little one out. One thing that has changed over the last 3 years is babymama will now occasionally call me daddy, not in the context I want but I will take what I can get. I've always been a fan of online shopping and now making the most of it. Managed to invest into a babycot, a portable cot ideal for travelling and weighs minimal Amazon job bish bash bosh. Invested in a baby carrier thing, fits well and looking forward to carrying my little boy around in it, my right hand little man. Seriously though he is really active, I dont know if matey is trying to show off but hes got power, in the evening after we eat now he will constantly wriggle around and kick out against my hand. I was a little wild kid, back in SA neighbours used to tell my mum how worried they were about me when I was riding around on my BMX like Speedy Gonzales. I'm hoping he isn't going to be as crazy as daddy but I'm not holding my breath. One thing Id like to do is be there for him during good and bad times just to let him know everything is going to be ok. I haven't lived with my dad since the age of 11 so I dream of giving my son more than I ever had, this is what is really important to me. Forget wealth, materialistic things they come and go, family is everything and my boy will be our pride. I'm off for now, until next time Hakuna Matata...TheLeoPride |
