It's been a little while since I've last updated you on everything. The wedding went really well, an initimate day we will never forget. It was just what we wanted and more, not a huge fuss everyone having a good time and both sides of the family getting together and getting to know each other. We had the reception the foloowing weekend and it was a good laugh, friends and family came together to celebrate us and we felt the love, it wont last long so we enjoyed every minute lol. Feel incredibly lucky and blessed to have tied the knot to Sarabi, she's the Queen of my pride. Although Sarabi and I have been together a long time, marriage is a huge step and I'm proud to have her as my wife - for better or worse although it might be for the worse:)
Finally we can kick back and get into the Christmas spirit. This time of the year seems to go incredilbly quick, Christmas day is now 19days away which Im sure will fly by. BUT, as excited as I am for Christmas I cant help but think of when baby boy is going to be joining our little pride. Simba is 31 weeks now and they say birth can happen anytime in between 36-40weeks so you do math. Sarabi has been doing a fantastic job with her diet and exercising. It keeps her in good spirits and will eventually help when the time of birth occurs. Simba is really strong now, he's a lethal ninja that entertains me with kicking his mum. He also reacts to our talking at times (going to have to get used to selective hearing). What i do find funny is that he rarely kicks for other people which I'm quite pleased about, especially when he doesn't kick for my mother in law :). Alhough we are prepared for his arrival I dont think we will feel ready until he's here. I seriously need to pull my finger out and start practicing nappy changing. Im going to have to deal with muconium, Sarabi tricked me into promising to take care of the first nappy change, then went onto explain what it is....Which is basically, and sounds like, poo from out of this world. Really disgusting I know but bring it on I'm ready for it. As the new year approaches so does our holiday/honeymoon. Although it has cost a fair bit, going away to spend quality time with little man and family will be well worth it. Most of our accomodation booking has been done through Airbnb in the past. Although its a very handy site there seems to be more charges than when we initially joined. I plan on exploring and researching alternative sites to use so if anyone knows of any holiday rental sites in South Africa do give us a shout. I hope you are all keeping warm during these cold times. Dont go too hard on the chocolate its not quite Christmas yet:) Feel free to leave your comments and thoughts. Until next time Hakuna Matata....The Leo Pride..
